National Maritime Museum – Amsterdam

The special dome structure that covers the courtyard of the National Maritime Museum in Amsterdam, is inspired by a traditional shipping map that is used offshore. The Services the department of octatube is responsible for maintenance of the the silicone sealant. Although this glass roof is not realized by Octatube, the curved roof with triangular glass panes fits our maintenance portfolio.

The dome-shape roofs are familiar to us and are comparable to AFAS dome Leusden, or The Bubble in Eindhoven. Although this roof shapes is not realised by Octatube, the steel roof structure with triangular glass panes fits our maintenance portfolio well
